What is Pilates

PILATES (CONTROLOGY) WAS CREATED BY

JOSEPH PILATES (JP) IN 1926 WITH HIS WIFE CLARA. THEIR FIRST STUDIO WAS IN NEW YORK CITY.  MANY OF THE FIRST CLIENTS WERE DANCERS AND GYMNASTS. PILATES HAS EVOLVED OVER THE YEARS – CLASSICAL TO CONTEMPORARY AND TO  WHERE WE ARE TODAY WITH MODERN. MY METHOD WILL BE TO TEACH  THE ORIGINAL CONTROLOGY IN A MODERN WAY USING DYNAMIC LAYERS TO IMPROVE STRENGTH, FLEXIBILITY, RESILIENCE, AND HELP PEOPLE FEEL 
GREAT.
